Materials

  • 1x 2x6x8 board (yields 3 sets) or 1x 1x6x8 board (yields 1 set)
  • Wood glue
  • Stain of choice
  • Rags & gloves

Tools

  • Bandsaw (optional for resawing 2x to 1x)
  • Table saw or crosscut method (sled, jigsaw, sawzall, chop saw)
  • Nail gun
  • Tape measure & pencil
  • Router or sander (for edgework)
  • Sandpaper
  • Make sure the candle holder heights match 6”, 9”, or 12” candles
  • Best used with 3” diameter battery-operated candles
